Day Six
In the morning looked at Pauline Johnston’s house that was on the campground. She was a poet that travelled and performed around Europe and daughter of a chief of the Six Nations. I paddled in the stern for the first time, felt excellent. The plant life along the river started getting really big. There were alot of noises coming from the water where we camped. Ever seen the movie The Host? I kept imagining that monster jumping out of the water and dragging me and the tent into the river.
