Day Four
Could see pieces of debris in the water from the storm the day before. Lots of little fish jumping out of the water and skipping several times before going back down. They seemed to be escaping larger fish. Started seeing more trailers along the way and fisherman in the river. We pulled out in the Brant Conservation area which had really great open tall grasses and milkweed plants. Monica came to pick us up and said we were both acting like old ladies in the car, telling her to slow down. It seemed only going 5 miles an hour for four days had an affect on our sense of speed.
